Firstly (thought I'd already posted this but its not there)
- big hugs to S. So so sorry mate. You know where I am and if you need me, just yell.
Secondly, we are going to Sydney in May! Very very excited about that! Spur of the moment booking on Christmas Day. Yay will get to meet up with some friends, as well as do some cool stuff with the kids. Will take B on the train, bus, boats etc. She will love it.
Its 11.10pm NYE, Jamie is away of course. We have only been home an hour from the Richo's for a Gateway NYE BBQ. Not many there, lots of fun. Food, cricket etc - kids did well not too much arguing really. B was good - ate so many chips lol. Mia stayed up til quite late and then slept on the bed. We saw some of the fireworks in town - B liked them to start with but then got a bit scared of the "fire lights".
Thats it from me - must go.
TTFN - Happy New Year.

Once again
long time no post.
So there's no point going over the last 2 weeks to update cause I wouldn't know where to start!
Yesterday was Christmas Day and I have to say it was really really nice. Tiring but good. Bethany was so excited about everything and I have to say that I was so pleased with her behaviour. She said thank you for all her presents which a heap of prompting and often without any prompting at all. She was really excited about Santa coming. On Christmas Eve she had Santa all organised and where he was going to leave the presents LOL. She thought he might bring playdough and it would be left on the front step (up stairs). The first thing she said when she woke up - "Mummy has Santa been?" tried to put her off for a while but she thought he was yet to come so we went and had a look - much to her delight there were presents! The chocolate spider, carrot and lettuce were eaten and a note left! And while looking out the door she spotted the swing set. She ran down to get Jamie up to "come look, come look". She said "did it come up out of the ground?" LOL so sweet. So we openned the Santa presents (B - LP Castle and Bear Hunt pop up book. M - Tether ball and book) in bed which went down well and then came out to the loungeroom to our presents. There were 2 stacks and she soon figured out the which one was hers and realised the biggest one was probably a big. She started ripping into and and soon "its a bike, its a bike, it's a bike" over and over again! She was sooooooooo excited. Didn't take long for every present to be openned and the floor was not to be seen! It was really lovely. She enjoyed giving presents nearly as much as she did in receiving them. From Jamie's Mum and Byron she got clothes and from my parents she got Hungry Hippo game and a personalised clock and from Aran a water pistol :0 From us - bike, Swingball set, FP laptop and bits and pieces, PJ's, shorts, sunnies, playdough etc. From Mia - Doodle Doug. Mia got - from Jamie's Mum a Peek-a-blocks wagon and bib, my parents a shaky ball thing and a gloworm. From us - piano thing, leapfrog book, and a box of goodies - clothes, sunnies, books, rain maker, from B - a fold out sofa. So they did well.
Jamie got me a scanner - so I have scanned half our wedding photos in. Got some $$ from MIL (shared) and beach towel, voucher and a book from Mum and Dad. $$ and voucher will go to our BBQ.
Bethany got me a special pressie - she chose herself a pink spatula and icecream scoop, wooden spoon and pink silicon knife! Lovely cause they were picked out by her just for me.
Jamie goes away today - :( trying to check the tears in check - I know he doesn't want to go and so don't want to add more pressure to him by seeing how upset I am about it. I think cause I am utterly exhausted too doesn't help me. I need to just catch some more sleep - easier said than done. Was up twice Christmas Eve to Mia and once to B. Thankfully last night was only once. So hope Mia gets back into sleeping all night - but thats not likely to happen while she is stuffing around with the bf'ing which has been going on for a week now.
Anyhoo better go - need to upload some pics of all the stuff i made for presents - they went down well too.

Sick Kids and Cloth Nappies
that has been my life for the last week. B came home from day care last tuesday with a high temp and generally unwell. Really only lasted a couple of days til she was bouncing off the walls again. Then Mia got it, unfortunately it is taking Mia a lot longer to shake it off. I think she has cried more in the last few days than her whole life put together. Actually screamed. Its been really hard, nothing can console her. Feeding not great either which i think is mucking with my supply. She is teething as well which hasn't helped. So up a couple of times in the night the last few nights and I am feeling pretty yuck. Hopefully we are on the end of it now. She is much better this morning so hopefully that will continue for the rest of the day/week/month :)
Cloth nappies??? Where on earth has this come from? Well I guess EB really. Reading about environmental stuff and also learning about modern cloth, so we might give it a go. My excuse has always been my poor relationship with the laundry, but I figure that I can beat it into submission. If I only have to wash nappies every second day then that should be OK. And it might not be full time cloth, will see. So I have been madly looking at whats out there and there is HEAPS. So mind boggling. I have made a list of what I might get to start with and I have the Baby Beehinds rep coming on Sat am so that will be fun. I never every thought I would get excited about cloth nappies! And I might not yet LOL.
Scrapping - not much. Need to be doing more OTP for presents and MUST start J's album. Decided I will do Mum an address book, actually I should look at folders - might be a better option for her.
J still really really busy. Horrible time of year really. Very smoky here today - bad fires down the NE/E Coast as well as Vic. Hope everyones OK

A BFP for Sharon
and I am so happy for her. A little concerned, well a lot really but right now just very happy. Honoured to share in the news so early too! Hoping and praying for healthy pg and cs on that date in August!
Well a hot day here and another by ourselves, am very over it really. B and I just made gingerbread men that are really yummy and I gave in and just gave her the Colin Buchanan King of Christmas DVD, so thats occupying her atm. We went to Windmill Toys today to get the cutters really, but got a few more bits and pieces for Christmas for them. A drum for Mia and a few musical things - triangle, ribbon and stuff for B. As well as a new smock and some paints etc. So easy to spend in that shop - can justify all of it cause it is so educational. Anyhoo... did put one thing back!
Mia is not that well. B had a virus during the week, high temps and stuff, only really lasted a good 24 hours but wasn't pleasant. Now M has it i think. She is OK but bursts into tears if B such as looks at her. So thats not helping the patience cause B looks at her a lot!
Church christmas party last night at Putt It mini golf at Grindelwald. Was funny watching B attempt it, good thing we didn't pay LOL. Left Mia home with Mum and Aran, so that was good. B fell in the water, was so funny. She didn't think so!
Well that's it I think. Should post some pics of OTP i have been doing. Just got to tie the ribbons on to MIL's DP's tin. Then to start a advent tree, not sure if its going to have pics or not yet. I don't really want to do one with pics as I will do 2 next year - one for B and M... but it needs to look good to suit the "plan".
thats it

Funny girl
That Bethany is a funny girl. The other day we were putting a pair of shoes on. They are canvas ones with just elastic at the sides and no laces etc. Lovely little shoes - white with coloured flowers. Anyway, they are really hard to get on and every time I do it I say we need to get a shoe horn. She comes out with "Mummy we need a shoe honker" LOL. We went to Kids Paradise with K, E and E today. Was fun. Went outside tonight to water once Mia was in bed - B just loves being out there. She went to do a wee out there again (rolls eyes) but we came inside and she wanted to just wash her feet in the bath as she'd been in the dirt. And she wees in the bath GRRR. Funny kid. She's lovely. Got Jamie a doughnut maker for christmas today - and of course she went and told him didn't she! Told him it was a secret though. Yeah B, so I guess she doesn't know what secret means yet LOL.
We've decided to get her aasessed for early start for school. Dunno what will happen but worth a try.
Jamie has been really busy and getting stressed. This time of year is so hard but the money is nice!
Found a BBQ today and really stoked cause we can get a better one for less that we intended to pay - Kmart has 30% off BBQ's which is pretty significant when looking at that sort of money. So I will go and layby that tomorrow. Getting one of the chrissy laybys tomorrow and will get some more of the advent christmas trees. Have 3 but if they are reduced down here then I will get more. I have plans for them!
Was some PDC jobs advertised yesterday. Last night I decided I would apply and then if successful hit them for part time. But I wouldn't want more than .4 and then there's care issues and house stuff. I just don't think our house would function with me away. The house was spotless before jamie came home and only a few hours and he's left stuff everywhere. LOL
